Features

HelpTip displays a short help message next to a control when it receives focus. Use Alignment to position the message and HelpTipIcon, BackColor, and ForeColor to adjust its appearance.

How To

Add a HelpTip component to the view and assign help text to the controls that need it. In code, call SetHelpTip(control, caption) to set the text and GetHelpTip(control) to retrieve it.

Advanced

Set Active to false to disable the provider without removing the assigned messages. Call Clear() to remove all text associated with that provider. Set AllowHtml when the help text includes HTML formatting.
