Active Control

ActiveControl Property

A container's ActiveControl property identifies its active child control. Read it to determine which control is active, or assign a control to make it active. The assigned control must be eligible for activation.

Focus Management

Use Focus() to request focus for a control and CanFocus to check whether it can receive focus. A container's FocusActiveControl() method directs focus to its active control. Keyboard navigation also depends on TabStop and TabIndex; see Tab Order.
