Represents a group of items in the Kanban board.

public class Group

Each group is displayed as a column of the board, with GroupName as the column title and one card for each Item in Items. The board merges groups that have the same GroupName (compared without case), so give each group a different name.

Constructors​

Instance member Group()​

Constructs a new instance of the Group class with an empty Items collection.

Example:

The following example creates a column with two cards and adds it to the board.

inProgress.ID = "doing";
inProgress.GroupName = "In Progress";
inProgress.Items.Add(new dxKanban.Item { ID = "7", Title = "Fix the login page", Description = "Marco" });

Properties​

Instance member GroupName​

String: Gets or sets the name of the group.

The name is displayed as the title of the column and must not be null when the group is displayed on the board.

Instance member ID​

String: Gets or sets the unique ID of the group.

The ID identifies the group in the click and drag events of the dxKanban control: it must be unique among the groups of the board.

Instance member Items​

ItemCollection: Returns the items in the group.

Each item is displayed as a card in the column of the group. When the group belongs to a dxKanban control, adding or removing items updates the board in the browser.
