JssorSlider
Wisej.Web.Ext.JssorSlider is the start of an image and content slider control based on the Jssor Slider library, with arrow, bullet and thumbnail navigators. In the 4.1 source it's unfinished, and it isn't published on NuGet.
Work in progress: not usable yet
In the 4.1 source:
JssorSlideris aWidgetwith no properties of its own. There's no way to add slides, and its initialization script is empty, so it renders an empty widget.ArrowOptions,BulletOptionsandThumbnailOptionsstore their settings, but nothing sends them to the browser yet.
The namespace is listed in the API reference only because the assembly is part of the 4.1 build. Don't take a dependency on it, because its API will change when the control is completed.
Planned design
The option classes show how the control is meant to be configured. Each one takes the slider it belongs to in its constructor:
| Class | Configures | Settings |
|---|---|---|
ArrowOptions | The previous/next buttons | Visible, ShowOnMouseOver, AutoCenter |
BulletOptions | The row of dots showing the current slide | Visible, ShowOnMouseOver, AutoCenterHorizontally, AutoCenterVertically, Orientation, SpacingX, SpacingY |
ThumbnailOptions | The strip of slide previews | Visible, ShowOnMouseOver, AutoCenterHorizontally, AutoCenterVertically, Orientation, Columns, Rows, SpacingX, SpacingY, Wrap |
The source also includes the Jssor transition catalog (transitions.json), which suggests the slide transitions will be selectable too.
What to use instead
- To cycle through images or panels, a
TabControlwith hidden tabs, or aFlexLayoutPanelwith your own previous/next buttons, plus the Animation extender for the transitions, gives you a slider made of regular Wisej.NET controls. - To use the Jssor library itself today, host it in your own
Widget: setPackagesto the Jssor script and write theInitScriptthat creates the slider. See Extend Widgets.
